Wisconsin Master Naturalist Training Opportunity

The Wisconsin Master Naturalist Program, a statewide effort to promote awareness, understanding and stewardship of the state’s natural resources, is offering a training course at The Clearing in Ellison Bay.

The $275 course involves 40 hours of classroom instruction and field experiences in natural history, interpretation and conservation stewardship. Once trained, Wisconsin Master Naturalists provide volunteer service in education/interpretation, stewardship and/or citizen science. To maintain certification, volunteers must complete 40 hours of service each year and eight hours of additional training.

Training will be held Fridays, 9 am – 4 pm, April 1 – May 13, in partnership with Door County Land Trust and Crossroads at Big Creek.
