‘Women Walking On Water’ Progressive Art Crawl

“Women Walking on Water” is the focus of this year’s Progressive Art Crawl hosted by four women’s fine art galleries in Egg Harbor. This year’s theme is part of the Celebrate Water Door County initiative. The Crawl is Aug. 2, 4-8 pm at Lost Moth Gallery, Off The Wheel Pottery, Cappaert Contemporary Gallery and Angela Lensch Gallery. The galleries will offer new water-inspired art with food courses at each gallery and chances to win gallery gift certificates.

Start off at any of the four galleries, where favorite culinary delights will be served while guests peruse the art. Lost Moth Gallery presents paintings by nature-inspired painter Jeanne Kuhns with pottery, sculpture and jewelry by guest artists. Off The Wheel Pottery features pottery, sculpture, jewelry, glass garden art and pottery by resident potter Renee Schwaller. Cappaert Contemporary Gallery shows contemporary art blending with an eclectic mix of painting, glass, clay and jewelry including the paintings of resident artist Ginnie Cappaert. Angela Lensch Gallery displays jewelry, mosaics, glass, photography and outdoor sculpture with unique and hand-woven, gold and silver jewelry by resident artist Angela Lensch.

Visitors may pick up their gallery card at any of the participants to be marked at all four galleries then turned into the last visited gallery to be eligible for the gift certificate drawing. Find the addresses of the galleries in the Gallery Guide.
