Women’s Fund Accepting Grant Applications

The Women’s Fund of Door County is accepting applications from local charities for the Fall 2012 Grant Cycle.

“We believe that when you give women and girls the tools they need to thrive, their families will prosper,” says Jane Stevenson, Co-Chair of the Women’s Fund of Door County.

Priority is given to those projects that provide education and information, build self-esteem and dignity, help solve critical issues and are research-based and data driven. Special consideration will be given to applications that are collaborative, innovative, and include women and girls in their planning and implementation.

The Women’s Fund also supports arts programs, efforts to improve women’s health, and initiatives promoting equality.

Guidelines and application materials are posted online at http://www.womensfunddoorcounty.org. Applications are due September 25.
