Women’s Fund Holds Sixth Annual Story Slam

Join the Women’s Fund of Door County at the sixth annual Story Slam: Tales of Our Lives March 7 and 8 at the Door County Fire Company, Sturgeon Bay.

A story slam is more than just a storytelling event: It’s an invitation for people to share a part of themselves with those who appreciate a well-told tale. These aren’t stories for children, but rather, honest chronicles of real-life events and how they made us into the people we are. They may be funny or sad, heart-warming or heart-wrenching. Tales of Our Lives is empowerment through performance and promises to be two nights to remember.

A social hour will begin at 6 pm, and the story slam will start at 7 pm. Bakery items from local women-owned businesses will be served, and a cash bar will be available.
