Women’s Reproductive Rights Panel

 Local activist group Northern Door Activism has invited three pro-choice candidates and a local expert, obstetrician/gynecologist Dr. Kristin Lyerly, to participate in a panel discussion on the current state of women’s reproductive rights and abortion-care access in Wisconsin. 

Candidate participants include lieutenant governor candidate Sara Rodriguez, state Senate candidate Andrea Gage-Michaels and Wisconsin Assembly candidate Roberta Thelen. Each candidate in attendance will be on Door County ballots Nov. 8, running against anti-abortion incumbents or candidates.

The event will take place Sept. 28 at Peach Barn Farmhouse & Brewery, 2450 S. Bay Shore Dr. in Sister Bay. The panel discussion will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by a candidate Q&A and reception, where donations are welcomed. Guests of all ages are invited to attend anytime between 5 pm and 8 pm to enjoy the provided food and refreshments.
