Woodwalk Concert Series Opens with Sons of the Never Wrong

Jeanne Kuhns’s Woodwalk Concert Series announces a lineup of diverse local and national acts to grace the stage in the gallery barn this summer. Surrounded by the works of Margaret Lockwood and other artists, musicians perform original songs to appreciative audiences under high barn ceilings, gorgeous wood beams and walls soaked with the music of the ages.

The season opens with Sons of the Never Wrong on June 21 at 7 pm. The quirky “Sons” – Bruce Roper, Sue Demel, and Deb Lader – are as good as it gets when it comes to skewing the notion of three-part harmony within original, whimsical songs that spring from both a folk tradition.

Series host Jeanne Kuhns will open with her band Small Forest.

The Woodwalk Concert Series includes: Buddy Mondlock (June 28), Jenny Bienemann (July 5), Krista Detor (July 12), Al Rose and The Transcendos (July 19), Claudia Russell (July 26), Peter Mulvey (Aug. 2), Small Forest (Aug. 9), Eddie Smith and Tommy Burroughs (Aug. 16), Chris Irwin (Aug. 23) and Buckets Of Rain 2 (Aug. 28, 29 & 30, and Sept. 4, 5 & 6).
