Work Day on Earth Day

On Earth Day, April 22, help out at Potawatomi State Park’s Earth Day/Work Day from 9 am to 2 pm. The park is gearing up for the busy summer season; no experience required. Volunteers are needed for cleaning up campsites, trail work, spreading mulch, cleaning the handicap cabin, and invasive species removal. Lunch will be provided. Stay for as long or as little as you like. Long pants, sturdy shoes and work gloves are recommended. Stop at the park office, 3740 County PD, to be directed to the work sites. If biking in from the side entrance, stop at the park shelter closest to the campground.
