Work, Play, Earth Day at Peninsula State Park

Peninsula State Park will participate in the statewide Work, Play, Earth Day event on April 20, 9 am – 12 pm. The Wisconsin DNR and Friends of Wisconsin State Parks are sponsoring the event.

Volunteers — individuals, groups and children accompanied by an adult — are needed to plant trees, clear brush and pick up litter. They should wear work shoes or boots, long pants and gloves. Meet at the Nicolet Beach parking lot for work assignments. Noontime refreshments and treats will be provided, and park admission is free to volunteers. Advance registration is not required.
