Workshop Offered to Nonprofit Leaders about High-Stakes Conversations

Leaders and members of nonprofit organizations in Door County are offered an opportunity to participate in the nationally acclaimed skill-building workshop, Crucial Conversations – Tools for Talking when Stakes are High. Crucial Conversations teaches skills for creating alignment and agreement by fostering open dialogue around high-stakes, emotional, or risky topics at all levels of organizations. By learning how to speak and be heard (and encouraging others to do the same), you’ll begin to surface the best ideas, make the highest-quality decisions, and then act on your decisions with unity and commitment.

This two-day workshop will be held Sept. 22, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, and Sept. 23, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, at the Stone Harbor Conference Center Boardroom. The cost is $50 per participant to cover book, food and facility.

Seats are limited to two per organization. To register, call 920.746.9645 or email [email protected]. Mail registration payment to: United Way of Door County, PO Box 223, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235.
