Workshops at The Hardy

The Hardy Gallery is excited to offer a one-day workshop on relief printmaking technique with University of Wisconsin – Green Bay printmaking professor Don Krumpos. “Relief Wood Cutting Printmaking Workshop” will be held Aug. 15.

Krumpos will introduce traditional woodcutting techniques along with a lecture on the history of printmaking during this workshop. All supplies and materials provided, however come with a 6″x 9″ sketch prepared, to be transferred to the wood block with a final print to be made during the workshop.

This workshop is intended to correlate with the Hardy Gallery’s final exhibit of the 2015 season, Exquisite Corpse. There are two more workshops planned for September: “Large Scale Steamroller Prints” on Sept. 5 and “Hamilton Wood Type Print Museum Demo” on Sept. 26.
