Workshops Offered at White Barn Gallery

Donna Brown’s White Barn Gallery has been newly rearranged to accommodate small workshops. Brown loves sharing her expertise and is offering classes that will provide individual attention and stimulate creativity.

Brown has been a respected artist in Door County since 1994. She has a reputation for innovation, continually adding new media and processes to her repertoire. She exhibits her work in her studio/gallery and has shown in numerous regional and national juried shows. A new affiliation with Fine Line Designs Gallery in Ephraim will allow Brown more time to work on her own and with students by shortening White Barn’s viewing hours to Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11 am to 3 pm.

The following classes allow space for four individuals: “Something Old, Something New,” Aug. 11, 10am-2pm, bring some failed or unfinished work and a willingness to experiment; “Monotype Madness,” Aug. 24, 9:30am-2:30pm, considered the painterly print, this is the simplest of printmaking techniques; “Rolling On,” Aug. 25 & 26, 9:30am-2:30pm, create a series of work using multiple transfers and ghost prints, participants should have some prior experience.
