WPR Features Birch Creek Symphony Orchestra

Three performances by the 2009 Birch Creek Symphony Orchestra will be broadcast on Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) on Sunday, June 27 at 12:30 pm.

The broadcast may be heard on WPNE-FM (89.3) in the Green Bay area and WHND-FM (89.7) in Door County. For those who cannot tune into WPR, visit http://www.wpr.org to hear the performance.

The songs selected for broadcast include Dvorak’s “Serenade for Winds,” Mendelssohn’s “Symphony No. 3,” and Bruch’s “Scottish Fantasy” featuring Robert Hanford on violin.
