WPR’s Norman Gilliland to Host Midsummer’s Music’s Opening Night

Midsummer’s Music audiences will be wowed by a spectacular 2021 season that celebrates Beethoven’s 250th birthday and includes some exciting, new and larger venues.

A special opening-night celebration will be held June 18, 7 pm, at Northern Sky Theater’s Gould Theater, 9058 Cty A in Fish Creek. Wisconsin Public Radio’s (WPR) knowledgeable Norman Gilliland will welcome concertgoers to the season-premiere performance featuring Mozart’s Piano Quartet in G Minor, Beethoven’s Clarinet Trio in B-flat, and Saint-Saëns’ Piano Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 44.

This outstanding program will repeat at SWY, 231 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, on June 20, 3 pm; and at Door Community Auditorium, 3926 Hwy 42 in Fish Creek, on June 22, 7 pm.
