Write On, Door County has launched a membership program to offer special opportunities and programs to literary enthusiasts. Membership benefits include opportunities to meet writers-in-residence in an informal, intimate setting, as well as invitations to special programs and events. Business members are recognized on Write On’s website, with a link to their business. The new low-cost program offers four membership levels: Individual, Family, Youth and Business.
“A membership program not only provides a base of support, but it is also a way to engage the community more deeply in our work and to get them involved,” said Write On Executive Director Jerod Santek.
In addition to the memberships, supporters can contribute in two more ways in the month ahead. On Aug. 15, Jimmy John’s in Sturgeon Bay will donate a portion of proceeds to Write On, and on Sept. 1, Write On staff, board members, Teen Council members, and others will bag groceries at Econo Foods to raise funds for programs.
