Write On Offers Young Writers, Health & Healing Conferences

There’s still time to sign up for Write On, Door County’s Young Writers Conference, set for March 18-19. Sessions will offer something for all students: poetry, fiction, journalism, song writing, plays, writing for games and digital media, and more.

The conference will feature three keynote presentations led by Wisconsin Poet Laureate Dasha Kelly Hamilton, celebrated singer/songwriter Cathy Grier and award-winning children’s author John Coy. Between the keynotes, students can work with established and experienced writers in small, interactive groups on a variety of subjects.

Write On, Door County’s first Health & Healing Conference – scheduled for May 13-15 – will offer sessions about holistic support, writing to heal, neurodivergence, word medicine, navigating trauma and more. Early-bird registration, which offers discount pricing, will close March 11.
