WRiTERS NiGHT Moves North

Cathy Grier moves her WRiTERS NiGHT north to the Door Community Auditorium March 2.

WRiTERS NiGHT, an original open mic hosted by Cathy Grier, will move north from the Holiday Music Motel’s Tambourine Lounge on March 2, 7 pm, for one special night at the Door Community Auditorium (DCA). Grier will host this evening, presenting a variety of the best WRiTERS NiGHT regulars and leaving open a few “wild-card” slots: the name of any attendee may be chosen to perform an original song.

Grier, of Sturgeon Bay, has been a professional musician for almost 40 years. She recently competed in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, and her multidimensional guitar technique, talents on slide and harmonica, gutsy vocal range and sterling songcraft have earned her worldwide acclaim.

Tickets for WRiTER’S NiGHT are $17.50 per person. All seats are general admission, and seating is limited. Advance reservations are recommended and can be made at the DCA box office, by phone at 920.868.2728 or online at dcauditorium.org.
