The UU Fellowship and Write On, Door County are co-sponsoring a community workshop, “Writing to Wake the Soul,” on Oct. 16, 1:30 – 3:30 pm. The workshop fee is $10, payable at the door; advanced registration before Oct. 14 will help with set-up and is appreciated. All are welcome.

“We must learn to reawaken and keep ourselves awake,” wrote Thoreau. What does it mean to be awakened, and how can writing help us to reawaken and stay awake? Karen Hering, author of Writing to Wake the Soul, returns to Door County to lead an afternoon of guided writing for writers and non-writers alike who wish to wake up to their own inner truths and to the truths of our times.
