World War II Veterans were recognized and celebrated at Operation Greatest Generation in Green Bay on May 4. Attendees had the opportunity to tour General Eisenhower’s European command train, view exhibits at the National Railroad Museum, see re-enactments and a 132nd Army Band performance.

Door County Trolley provided a free trip for 11 Door County veterans to attend the event. Staff at Door-Tran also worked with veterans to schedule the trip and complete event registration.
