Yardstick Books Host 4th of July Bike Parade

Join Yardstick Books, 317 Steele St. in Algoma, for an Independence Day bicycle parade on July 4, 9 am. Children and adults are encouraged to decorate bikes, strollers, scooters, wagons – and dogs! – to celebrate the holiday. Arrive around 8:45 am to line up before the parade travels around the block at 9 am. Refreshments will be served. Judges will choose the best-decorated bike, the most unusual design and more. Throughout June, Yardstick will provide instructions and tips about making and mounting decorations and will have limited decorating supplies available at the store.
