YMCA Breakfast Reflects on Positive Impact

The Door County YMCA (doorcountyymca.org) hosted its annual Community Breakfast on Feb. 11 to celebrate and reflect on the positive impact the YMCA has made during the past year and to look forward to meeting future needs.

“We have so much to be proud of as we celebrate our 35th birthday this coming August,” said Heidi Erickson, CEO of the Door County YMCA. “We are fortunate to have had leaders in this community with the vision to imagine and bring to reality the Door County YMCA.” Regarding what guides the organization’s work, she said, “We focus on empowering young people, improving health and well-being, and inspiring action in and across our community.”
