YMCA Host Labor Day Run

The YMCA’s 10th Annual Labor Day Weekend Run will take place on September 3. The annual 5k Run/Walk and half-mile children’s race will also have a duathlon for the fourth year in a row with a 2-mile run/12-mile bike/2-mile run. A Pairs Relay will also take place for the second year.

The Labor Day Weekend Run will be held at the Northern Door Program Center located at 3866 Gibraltar Road in Fish Creek. There will be door prizes, free use of the Aquatic Center, refreshments and family fun for everyone.

Race Day registration will begin at 7 am with the duathlon at 8 am, the 5K run at 9:45 am, and the children’s race at 10:15 am.

Registration fees are $37 through August 15 and $45 thereafter for the adults and youth in the duathlon. The fee for the Pairs Relay is $55. The 5k Run/Walk will cost $18 through August 15 and $23 thereafter for adults and $10 for youth ages 8-17 in the 5K Run/Walk. The half-mile children’s race cost $5. T-shirts are guaranteed to all participants who preregister.
