YMCA Offers Free Events during “Walktober”

The YMCA and Ministry Door County Medical Center are currently celebrating “Walktober” – a community wellness campaign.

During October, the Y offers several free opportunities for community members. “Walktober” calendars are available at the YMCA to help people meet their activity goals.

Events for kids include: Halloween Costume Exchange on Oct. 6 at 2 pm; Super Kids Fun Night on Oct. 19 at 6:30 pm; and BOO Bash Halloween Party on Oct. 26 at 5 pm.

“Flow for Bo!” will be held at the Northern Door YMCA Oct. 8 – 12 at 5:30 pm. The BodyFlow class incorporates a combination of Pilates, yoga and tai chi for a suggested donation of $10 towards the Go Bo! Foundation.

A Community Health Fair will be held Oct. 23.
