YMCA’s Capital Campaign Goal in Sight

The updates and expansions at the YMCA’s Sturgeon Bay Program Center are beginning to take shape. Submitted.

The capital campaign to renovate and expand the Door County YMCA’s Sturgeon Bay Program Center is within $130,000 of its $10.2 million goal. As 2023 kicked off, local YMCA membership had also reached an all-time high; programs were full; and both facilities were buzzing with activity. 

Half of the facility is now under renovation where new class and community spaces will be located. Precast walls also started going up outside, and the new wellness center and youth activity center are taking shape.
