BodyWorks of Door County now offers outdoor yoga classes on the waterfont in Ephraim and Sister Bay. In celebration of its first summer in business, from June 6 – 14 students can attend classes at 20 percent discount (it’ll be $8 instead of $10). In addition, each time students attend a class their names will be entered into a drawing for prizes, including two passes for five free classes, and a $25 gift certificate to yogaaccessories.com.

Held June through September all outdoor classes are relaxed, drop-in friendly, family friendly and affordable. So, if you are strolling by and see the “BodyWorks of Door County” flag waving, feel free to join.

BodyWorks of Door County is a business born of local girl Alissa Jacobson, who moved away, became a yoga instructor, and when she would visit Northern Door loved to come down to the shore and practice in her favorite place in the world. Jacobson has returned home, and is excited to offer outdoor sunrise and sunset yoga classes on the waterfront in Ephraim and Sister Bay six days a week. Jacobson also instructs at The Spa at Sacred Grounds and takes private clients.

The BodyWorks general schedule is:

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 6 – 10 am and at sunset at marina.

• Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday Mornings at Spa at Sacred Grounds

• Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at sunset in Ephraim Center.
