Young-Adult Novelist to Visit ADRC of Door County

The Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Door County, 916 N. 14th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, will host a Write On, Door County program with young-adult novelist Angie Stanton on Oct. 15, 10 am.

Stanton will share the research process for her time-travel novel, Waking in Time, which involved researching such things as the Sterling Hall bombing at the University of Wisconsin, the cost of pay-phone calls in the 1930s and changes in fashion, cars and employment throughout the decades. She will encourage others to share their memories as well during this special program.
