The Ahnapee Regional Youth Apprenticeship Consortium, which includes Luxemburg-Casco, Kewaunee and Door County high schools, invites employers to learn more about the Youth Apprenticeship Program, which will be in full swing during the 2020-21 academic year. The Department of Workforce Development oversees the consortium.
To begin your journey with youth apprenticeship and experience the numerous benefits, attend an employer expo Jan. 30, 4-6 pm, in Luxemburg; or Feb. 6, 4-6 pm, at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor. These expos will provide an overview of the program areas; discuss the application and selection processes, program guidelines and requirements of employers and mentors; and offer skills-checklist reviews and mentor-training basics.
Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served at both expos, along with a cash-bar social following the program.
To attend, complete the registration form at kcedc.org, scan it and email it to [email protected]
