Zion United Methodist Donates to South Africa

Patty Williamson, member of the Missions Committee at Zion United Methodist Church near Baileys Harbor, presents a check for $1,064.59 – the offering from the church’s annual Labor Day Hymn Sing – to Rev. Joe Mitchell, pastor of the Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church. The money will help provide a new building for preschoolers in Lethabong, South Africa, many of whom have been orphaned by AIDS. Rev. Mitchell has led a mission group to South Africa each year since 2004.
