Businesses Invited to Door County Wedding Vendor Strategic Planning & Marketing Conference

Door County businesses or individuals that benefit from the wedding industry are invited to attend the inaugural Door County Wedding Vendor Strategic Planning & Marketing Conference on Jan. 12, 9 am – 12 pm. The conference is presented by Door County Style Wedding Magazine and the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center, and will be held at the Landmark Resort in Egg Harbor. Attendance is free.

“When couples do plan to come here, we’d like to insure that they know Door County has an enormous amount of talented and experienced wedding vendors, capable of handling their every need or desire,” says event coordinator Alisa Landman. “We’d also like to promote Door County as a four-seasons wedding destination.”

Attendees should bring along marketing materials to display and share with other attendees. This event is intended to foster grassroots collaboration and teamwork.

Speakers will include Amanda Thuss, marketing and promotions director at the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center; and Stephen Kastner with DesignWise Studios. There will also be a presentation on agritourism – any agriculturally based operation or activity that brings visitors to a farm or ranch.
