Teen Action Committee Organizes Late Night Laser Tag at Sturgeon Bay YMCA

Thanks to several nonprofit organizations that have partnered together to form the Teen Action Committee (TAC), approximately 75 high school teens enjoyed Late Night Laser Tag at the Door County YMCA, Sturgeon Bay Program Center, on Jan. 22. The YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, and Big Brothers, Big Sisters work together, supported by the United Way of Door County, to provide a monthly event that is both safe and exciting for area high school students. According to Eric Natwick, Youth Director at the Door County YMCA, “The night was so much fun and provided a great opportunity for teens in our area to get out and have a blast together in a safe environment. There were kids from Southern Door, Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol and Gibraltar High Schools represented, which was really great to see. We could not have done this without help from our sponsor and many terrific volunteers.” Along with laser tag, the teens enjoyed ping pong, dodgeball and basketball, as well as free food.
