Vehicle-admission stickers and passes to visit more than 60 Wisconsin state parks, forests, recreation areas and trails are now on sale for 2022 and are valid from the date of purchase through Dec. 31, 2022.
A sticker is required on all motor vehicles visiting these areas, and some state forest and trail parking areas also require a sticker. A state trail pass is required for all people age 16 or older who are biking, inline skating, horseback riding, cross-country skiing or off-highway motorcycling on specific state trails. A state trail pass is not required for walking or hiking.
An admission sticker costs $28 for Wisconsin residents or $38 for nonresidents. If more than one vehicle is registered to the same household, additional stickers are available for $15.50 for residents and $20.50 for nonresidents. Senior citizen annual stickers are available to Wisconsin residents 65 and older for $13. Annual trail passes cost $25 for residents and nonresidents.
Purchase stickers online, in person at state parks and DNR service centers, or by calling a state park property office during office hours. Find out more at dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/parks/admission.
