Anora

On January 13, 2010, a Forestville man came into the Humane Society carrying three terrified black kittens. They had been found hiding in the metal shop where he worked. Two years later, two of the now-adult cats are still at the shelter, hoping to find a family just like their sister has.

Ape and Anora have graduated from cages into full-fledged lobby roaming cats. This brother and sister pair hasn’t known the pleasure of having a friendly lap to snuggle in every evening, or the fun of pouncing on the bed when it’s time for breakfast.

Both are up to date with vaccinations and may be adopted together or individually.

Adoption costs are $90 for cats and kittens, $150 for dogs, and $60 for puppies. All animals are vaccinated, and spayed or neutered. Dogs have had a behavioral assessment.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD) in Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon – 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit http://www.doorcountyhumanesociety.org.
