Bubba

Genial, gregarious, gentle…all the traits found in a best friend, and embodied in Bubba, a six-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever mix. Bubba is a “go along to get along” kind of guy, ambling up to say hello to all who visit him. He is recently neutered, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated.

Relaxed but ready to go chase a ball whenever the opportunity arises, Bubba will be happy with any family activity that includes him. He was found at the former Y Inn intersection along Highway 42/57 in Southern Door. Bubba received a bath shortly after arriving at the shelter, and then plenty of attention to reassure him he was safe and protected. Of all his new toys, this stuffed puppy is his favorite. He’s a darling dog, deserving of a forever home soon. The dog adoption fee is $150.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD – the road to Potawatomi State Park), Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon – 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit dooranimals.com.
