Together, the four kittens from Forestville weighed less than one pound when they arrived at the shelter in May. Each tiny being, eyes tightly shut, was fighting to survive. With constant attention and hourly hand-feeding, Callie the fighter made it to be 8 months old. She was aided by an attentive DCHS staff and committed foster mom. Everyone celebrated when the gray-and-white gal achieved her 3 lb. landmark weight so she could be spayed. That same feistiness that prevailed in Callie in her baby days carries into her adolescence. Callie is a rambunctious kitten, loving to rough-house with anyone, especially dogs. She is adorably independent and free-spirited. Are you up to taking on the Callie challenge?
