Rex

If we had to pick only one word to describe Rex, it would be handsome. This youngster is a little more than a year-and-a-half old and is a Labrador and Siberian husky mix. His black and tan coat feels like plush velvet and his chocolate brown eyes are mesmerizing. He enjoys playing with his squeaky toys and exploring outside. The only request that Rex makes to his future family is that he be the only male dog in the household. If you are looking for a gorgeous, fun-loving dog, come and visit Rex at the Door County Humane Society.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 County Road PD in Sturgeon Bay, is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit doorcountyhumanesociety.org.

Caitlin & Collin Update

The unlikely romance of Caitlin the Basset Hound and Collin the Shelter Cat continues at the Door County Humane Society. The pair was recently spotted on their first date. Collin was seen presenting Caitlin with chocolates from Door County Sisters’ Sweets and a bouquet of fresh flowers. During their date they took a stroll on the beach and wrote each other’s initials in the sand. Stay tuned for more to come in this budding love affair.
