The abstract paintings of Elise Pescheret are now on display at Base Camp Coffee Bar through the end of February.

Pescheret is an artist currently living in Chicago, who frequently sneaks away to Door County throughout the year for much-needed family time and fresh air. Having studied art/design, photography, and advertising, she is currently using these skills to inform her painting. She looks to create color compositions that promote a natural movement throughout the piece. Her acrylic paintings capture fluidity and texture in a vibrant color palette, exploring the possibilities of the medium.
