Add to the Archives Event Focuses on “School Days”

The Door County Historical Museum and Door County Archives will host another archiving event Aug. 25 and 26 to collect information about “School Days.”

Photos are still needed for several Sevastopol one-room schools. Schools missing include Lakeside or Royce (District 1) on Country View Road at Moore Road; Low Valley or Sullivan (District 7) on Dunn Road, east of Institute; and an exterior view of Fairmont or Batchelder (District 6) on Clark Lake Road at Jarman Road.

To contribute photos or information, call 920.743. 5809 or stop by the museum located at 18 N. 4th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. Photos can be scanned and returned.

The museum is open daily 10 am – 4:30 pm.
