Algoma Sculptor Juried Into New York Show

“The Visionary, Call to Spirit” by Bren Sibilsky.

Algoma sculptor Bren Sibilsky was recently juried into The Healing Power of ART Inspired by Nature exhibit, sponsored by Healing Power of Art & Artists, an initiative of Manhattan Arts International. She has previously earned several Awards of Excellence in this New York show, as well as a Best of Show in 2007.

Sibilsky’s piece, “The Visionary, Call to Spirit,” will soon be ready to cast into bronze. She sends special thanks to Earl Meshigaud, director of culture, language and history, Potawatomi Tribe; and Kenneth W. Meshigaud, tribal chair, Potawatomi Tribe, for their generosity, hospitality, insights and knowledge of Native American history.
