American Folklore Theatre Presents “Home for the Holidays with AFT”

American Folklore Theatre (AFT) announces a performance date change for “Home for the Holidays with AFT.” There will not be a performance on New Year’s Day, but there will be performances on New Year’s Eve at 4 and 7 pm. The schedule was adjusted so Wisconsin Badger fans can enjoy the Rose Bowl.

The sixth incarnation of “Home for the Holidays with AFT” will feature Doc Heide, Chris Irwin, and Claudia Russell. This trio of AFT favorites will present an evening of songs and stories gathered from their own diverse holiday scrapbooks.

“It all started as a opportunity to extend that holiday feeling beyond Christmas morning,” said Holly Feldman, AFT Manager of Marketing, of the beginnings of “Home for the Holidays.”

Heide says this show is special since they “reinvent it every year by bringing in new combinations of diverse and talented artists. Claudia, Chris and I have all sung on stage together, but never with this delightful material in this format. AFT primarily does book musicals these days, so it’s a real treat to dust off our acoustic guitars and sing folk-style with good friends.”

Performances are scheduled for 7 pm on Dec. 28, 29 and 31 and 4 pm on Dec. 29 and 31 at the Gibraltar Town Hall in Fish Creek.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for children. For advance tickets call 920.854.6117, visit http://www.FolkloreTheatre.com, or stop by the AFT office at the Green Gables Shops in Ephraim. Any remaining tickets will be sold at Gibraltar Town Hall before each performance.
