Amvets Donate $3,000 To DC Farm For Vets

Bill Forry, Commander of AMVETS Post #51 in Sturgeon Bay presented a $3,000 donation to Jacob VandenPlas, President of DC Farm for Vets during the monthly AMVETS post meeting on Nov. 28. DC Farm for Vets is a rehabilitation farm that provides education and services to veterans entering the field of agriculture.  

AMVETS is a veterans service organization open to anyone currently serving or who has honorably served in the United States Armed Forces including the National Guard and Reserves. AMVETS Post #51 meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 7 pm at the Lodge At Leathem Smith, 1640 Memorial Dr. in Sturgeon Bay.
