Artist Gloria Higuera Featured at Santa Fe Shop

The Santa Fe Shop in Fish Creek is excited to present the artistic and original jewelry of Mexican artist Gloria Higuera.

Gloria Higuera, born in Mexico City, was educated at La Esmeralda design school in Mexico. Following her schooling, she lived in Prague and increased her experience in jewelry design for the next three years. Higuera has been in the jewelry business for over twenty-five years, designing many unique pieces.

During the last six years, Higuera has been working with dichroic glass, which is made by combining different ferrous oxides at a carefully monitored temperature that creates a unique glimmer to the work. Gloria Higuera has also created colorful pieces made with dichroic glass and sterling silver, distinguishable by its originality and beauty.
