Artist Talk with Kari Anderson

All are welcome at Hope Church for an artist talk with Kari Anderson on Nov. 18 at 3:15 pm. Arrive around 3 pm to view Anderson’s art, grab a plate of refreshments, and then listen as she answers questions about her journey in art and about the art she creates.

Watercolor is a medium that local Door County artist Anderson is so well known for – her sky, snow and moon images all have that quality that draws people to her art. Anderson puts a lot into the title too, and that is more insight to the work. Anderson also works in glass, and she works with it in similar ways to her watercolors in red or blue.

Anderson is the current artist in the Hope Art Alcoves Gallery located in Hope Church at the corner of Michigan Street and 12th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. The exhibit ends with the Sturgeon Bay Art Crawl from 10 am to 4 pm on Nov. 18 & 19. The gallery is open Monday through Friday 9 am to 1 pm, and after the 10:30 pm worship service on Sunday.
