It was a night of surprises in the Packerland last night. Sevastopol took Southern Door to overtime before Jon Baudhin put the game away for the Eagles in the extra period. The eagles won 60-53. Meanwhile NEW Lutheran sped by Oconto 83-71, handing the Blue Devils just their second conference loss in two seasons. The Blazers dropped 11 3-pointers on Oconto in the win.
And in Sturgeon Bay the Gibraltar Vikings topped the Clippers in Sturgeon Bay for the third straight season, 71-60. The Vikings were forced to forfeit an earlier victory over Sturgeon Bay, but fans chanted “This One Counts!” as the final seconds ticked off.
Rivals Algoma and Kewaunee did not play due to the weather.
