Bill Rizzo to Speak About Public Engagement in Government

UW-Extension specialist Bill Rizzo will provide an educational presentation for municipal and school officials as well as the public on “Building Community and Engaging the Public in Local Government.” Rizzo has more than 20 years of experience helping Wisconsin communities and residents understand and employ the best methods and practices for generating dialogue and deliberation, especially when the issues are complex and contentious. Rizzo will give two presentations on Thursday, Oct. 6. The first is at Jacksonport Town Hall at 1:30 pm and he will repeat the presentation at 6:30 pm at the Nasewaupee Town Hall. The program is co-sponsored by the Door County UW-Extension office and the Door County Civility Project.
