Kick Ash After Hours

Kick Ash has launched Kick Ash After Hours, extending its Thursday, Friday and Saturday hours until 9 pm. Enjoy wine by the glass, coffee, snacks, board games and more at its location at 12001 Mink River Road in downtown Ellison Bay.

Fika Opens May 7

Fika Bakery and Cafe on the north end of Fish Creek is back for the 2021 season and will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 7:30 am – 3 pm, starting May 7. Look for extended hours coming in June. 

Door County Brewing Co. Partners with 3 Sheeps Brewing Co.

As part of its 2021 brand refresh, Door County Brewing Co. has begun a new partnership with Sheboygan’s 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. The Baileys Harbor brewery will continue producing smaller, draft-only beers for its taproom, while 3 Sheep’s larger facilities will accommodate needs for larger batches. The first collaboration includes a spring seasonal, Bare Bottom Madness, and a revamped Polka King porter. 

Egg Harbor Cancels Alefest 

Egg Harbor Ale Fest, the beer festival in Egg Harbor’s Harbor View Park normally held in September, has been canceled. The Egg Harbor Business Association made the call April 13, citing many factors, including the decline of volunteers for the event. The Door County Beer Festival is slated to continue in Baileys Harbor June 19. Find details or buy tickets at doorcountybeerfest.com.

Parallel 44 Hosts Open House May 8

Parallel 44’s open house will include live music, a food truck, vineyard tours and wine by the glass and bottle. Join the socially distanced festivities May 8, 12-6 pm, at Parallel 44, N2185 Sleepy Hollow Road in Kewaunee.
