Champion Shrine Releases 2018 Lenten Season Schedule

The National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Champion announced the schedule of the Lenten season. Prayer and reflection inside the Chapel at the Stations of Cross will take place twice weekly and Holy Week will include a special evening Tenebrae Service and blessings of the food baskets leading up to Easter Sunday.

The Lenten season schedule includes:  Stations of the Cross – every Friday during Lent (Feb. 16 through March 30) at 5:30 pm led, by The Fathers of Mercy; Stations of the Cross – every Tuesday during Lent (Feb. 20 through March 27) at 9:15 am, led by Sister Caritas; Mass for Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord – March 25 at 11 am; Holy Week Tenebrae Service – March 28, TBA; Holy Week Blessing of the Food Baskets for Easter Meal, March 31, TBA; Holy Mass for Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord – April 1, 11 am.
