Comments Sought for County Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Door County Planning and Emergency Services Departments are in the process of developing a multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan in compliance with Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) requirements. Municipal-level meetings have been scheduled for the following dates/locations, all from 4 – 6 pm: Sept. 21, Forestville Town Hall, Maplewood, 7705 County Hwy. H; Sept. 28, Peninsula Room, Door County Government Center, 421 Nebraska St., Sturgeon Bay; Sept. 29, Egg Harbor Town Hall, 5242 County Hwy. I

There will be a short presentation at approximately 4:15 pm, repeated again around 5:15 pm. Documents and maps may be found here or  at the Planning Department during regular business hours (8 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday).
