Community Mosaic At Hardy

The Hardy Gallery’s annual Collection Invitational & Collector’s Choice Benefit will begin July 14 with an opening reception, 5:30-7 pm, and it will remain on view until Aug. 27. 

This exhibit features two works in a similar theme by each invited artist. One of the works is donated to the gallery’s silent auction, with all proceeds benefiting the Hardy Gallery; and the second is displayed in the gallery and marked for sale at the artist’s request. Attendees can make bids in person in the gallery, by phone at 920.854.5535 or by emailing [email protected].

The Hardy Gallery’s Community Mosaic Project will also be unveiled July 14 with an opening reception, 5:30-7 pm, and will remain on view until Aug. 27. The project features artworks on more than 320 individual canvases, which were provided free with assistance from Artists Guild in Sturgeon Bay.

The finished canvases are displayed together in a tapestry that makes up the mosaic wall, and the individual canvases are available for purchase by phone, mail or email at $35 each. They are sold as a “blind buy” in which purchasers do not know which canvas from the mosaic wall they will receive.
