CPR and AED Education Day May 21

The Door County Fire Chiefs Association’s Defibs4DoorCounty campaign is partnering with the Compress & Shock Foundation on May 21 – this year’s CPR and AED Education Day – to offer two free training classes

The hands-on training will give participants, ages 13 and older, a basic level of comfort with CPR and automatic external defibrillator (AED) devices. Experienced local fire and EMS staff will teach the classes and can answer Door County–specific questions.

Classes are scheduled for 9 am and 11 am at the Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire Station, 2258 Mill Road in Sister Bay, and each class will last 60-75 minutes. Space is limited, so register in advance at bit.ly/DoorCountyAED or defibs4doorcounty.org.

In addition to the May 21 training classes, AED and CPR training is available for a nominal fee throughout the year from the Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire Department.
