Dance Classes For All Ages At Studio234

Professional dancer and dance educator Elena Santiago will teach beginning and intermediate/advanced ballet classes for adults and teens 13 and older during two 12-week sessions at Sturgeon Bay’s STUDIO234.

The sessions take place on Mondays Jan. 8 through April 1, with no class on March 25.

The intermediate/advanced session takes place 4:30-5:30 pm and costs $216. This class is for teens and adults who have significant ballet experience and are ready for increasingly challenging combinations, as well as adding musicality, choreography and artistry to their existing ballet technique.

The beginner class takes place 6-7 pm and costs $180. In this session, students will learn fundamental ballet positions, vocabulary, movements and class etiquette while gaining strength, flexibility and coordination. The class is for absolute beginners and students who have prior knowledge of ballet.

Emerald Lion Alchemy Dance School is also offering classes for children and adults at STUDIO234. The sessions begin the week of Jan. 8 and end the week of April 1.

Children’s class offerings include ballet, tap and jazz/hip-hop for ages 4 and older. Adult dance and fitness classes, offered as group or private lessons, include ballet, tap, bellydance, ballroom, swing, yoga and Jazzercise.
