DCEDC Seeks Nominations for Entrepreneur, Industry of the Year

•The Door County Economic Development Corporation’s (DCEDC) board of directors is accepting applications for the annual awards of Door County Entrepreneur of the Year, Door County Industry of the Year and Lifetime Achievement.

These awards salute and celebrate members of the Door County community who have made significant economic impacts through business development and operation, civic engagement or community development. The award recipients will be announced at the DCEDC’s annual meeting  in April, the date of which will be announced soon. The deadline to submit nominations is Feb. 25, 2019.

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award celebrates individuals who have taken the initiative to start and grow a successful small business in Door County. The Industry of the Year award recognizes a construction, service or manufacturing business that has made a substantial impact on the community and has enjoyed significant accomplishments during the past year. The Door County Lifetime Achievement Award honors individuals who have spent 20 or more years of their career or life building, operating and/or owning business(es) in Door County that have had a positive and lasting impact on the county’s economy and business landscape, and who actively participate in civic and community development.
